ENROLLING AT AMAZING GRACE
Enrolling your child in an Amazing Grace Early Learning Centre is a significant step your child educational journey.
Here’s a detailed guide to help you navigate the enrolment process
1. Contact Us
- Choose your centre: Amazing Grace Early Learning Centre Railway Estate or North Ward.
- Complete your waitlist application: Link ?
- Visit Centres: We will schedule a visit to your Amazing Grace Early Learning Centre to observe the environment, meet the staff, and inquire about their curriculum, Educator or teacher qualifications, and philosophy.
2. Application
- Complete Enrolment Forms: Fill out the Enrolment forms accurately, providing all required details about your child and family.
- Submit Documentation: Include necessary documents such as proof of your child’s age (birth certificate), immunization records.
3. Enrolment Confirmation
- Acceptance Notification: After reviewing your application, the centre will notify you of your child’s acceptance status.
- Payment: Families enrolment will be secured once the enrolment fee and bond has been paid. Upon payment of the enrolment fee children will receive a hat, t-shirt, draw string bag and water bottle
4. Transition Days
- Parent Orientation: Attend the parent orientation session provided by the ELC to learn about daily routines, policies, safety procedures, and communication protocols and share your families care expectations.
- Child Orientation: Participate in any transition activities designed to help your child acclimate to the new setting. This may include short visits or phased entry days, prior your child commencing care.
5. Preparation
- Gather Supplies: 2 spare changes of Sunsmart clothing Underwear & Socks Bucket Hat Children’s water bottle Sheets for rest time – fitted sheet & loose sheet in a pillowcase or drawstring bag NO bulky sheets or pillows Children’s size towel – for water play. Please label all children’s belongings.
- Health Preparations: Ensure your child’s immunizations are up-to-date and that the ELC has all necessary medical information, including any allergies or special health needs. Immunisation records need to be maintained to receive CCS benefit.
6. First Day
- Establish a Routine: Create a consistent drop-off routine to help your child feel secure and comfortable. This might include a special goodbye ritual.
- Stay Connected: Maintain open communication with your ELC staff and stay informed about your child’s progress, daily activities, and any concerns
